I went through the settings, and though there as some differences (as 
outlined below), they don't account for what you are seeing. 

You might try changing the settings on the problem board to be exactly 
like the spare board, and see if it does work correctly again.  I'm 
guessing not though.

Please send the problem board back to me for repair.

counter axis, dual dir lines, pwm, polarity=1, 38400 baud, wb=3.5, 
wc=8.2, 2KHz pwm
