Re: [WheelCommander] WheelCommander Back in Stock at Acroname

Pete

I have a problem I want to use the program wc132_bs_2demo

What I want to do use this program as a base and change Loop4: only

What I wanted it to do:
#1 Maintain a constant speed with both servos tracking a straight line
#2 Change course using differential steering while maintaining a constant speed

I am using the default parameters

I am having a difficult time understanding your logic behind the WC132

please Help Hank van Buuren

Hank,

I haven't done it yet, I was planning to do it some day.

Here is a link to a third-party project I found just now using google, that uses the BasicStamp to decode RC receiver signals and then do something with them:

You could start by combining his code with my example:
http://www.nubotics.com/support/wc132/code/bs2/wc132_bs2_demo.bs2.php

You would probably want to use the setvelocity and setrotation subroutines in my code rather than setposition and setangle.

You would use his technique of using PULSIN to decode the RC receiver signal(s); mathematically convert these to velocity and rotation rate values that do what you want; then send them out over the serial connection to the WheelCommander.

Pete,
you would not have a sample program you used, using a r/c receiver or some to get me started??
Hank
